Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus. We are excited about what God is doing in and through MEN'S MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL. We are witnessing God's grace and power at work around the world.

*MMI is sponsoring evangelists in Europe, Africa and Asia.

*MMI is conducting Schools of Evangelism throughout the USA

*MMI is sending a container of educational materials to Africa.

*MMI is remodeling churches, schools and camps through Craftsmen for Christ.

*MMI is discipling men and women for evangelism and service throughout the Free Methodist denomination

I recently returned from Cambodia where I met with Free Methodist pastors and lay people. They are preparing to launch a Men's Ministry in several of the Cambodian Churches. Please remember them in your prayers. Rev. Lucian Behar will be traveling to Cambodia in August to bless and encourage our newest MMI Ministry.

In this issue of our newsletter we are highlighting the Schools of Evangelism and Craftsmen for Christ. We have added three new support ministries to MMI: prayer, promotions and accountability. Check out our web page and drop us a line - we are here to serve you and the Free Methodist Church. May the Lord continue to bless you as you serve Him.

Grace and peace,

In Christ,
Reverend Jeffrey P. Johnson
Executive Director

Note from the President

"Thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumphal procession in Christ and through us spreads everywhere the fragrance of the knowledge of Him. For we are to God, the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing."

2 Cor 2:14-15 NIV

It is my dream that Revival in the church will come through Godly men, who have been "united in faith" through Men's Ministries International. That God will restore the men to their God-given roles as servant leaders in their home, as well as in their church and community. That Free Methodist men of character, who have been built up through our evangelism and discipleship efforts, will be willing to serve and support our Pastors in reaching the lost: developing men of integrity, and in building new and restoring needy churches across our denomination. That we, Free Methodist men will pick up the plow and resume the job set forth by those who came before us, beginning with John Wesley and B.T.Roberts, and continuing in the labors of Kingsley, Delamarter, Behar, and Kaufmann. Please pray for this vision.

MMI is a self-supporting ministry and depends totally on the willingness of those who are faithful in financially supporting us as we share Jesus, and minister to many peoples around the world.

Our annual partnership contribution is $25.00, our Share Partners give $15.00 monthly, and our President's Club members generally send gifts ranging from $250.00 to $1000.00 annually. Thank you and God bless you for helping us minister to needy men and their families.

Sincerely His servant,
Jim Stetler, MMI President

Strategy: "Throughout the past decade, PROMISE KEEPERS have proven that 'men need each other to build a closer relationship to Jesus.' From our beginning as Light & Life Men International, our goal has been to Win Men for Christ. Recently, the NATIONAL COALITION OF MEN'S MINISTRIES has been organized to 'do together, what we can't do alone.' In concert with our past, and in cooperation with the present, our future must include the building of men's accountability groups. Craftsmen For Christ - Directed by Keith Ivers

Craftsmen For Christ gives men and women opportunities for service. This service comes in three areas: Working, encouraging, and sharing.

CFC offers teams to come WORK, using their gifts with the receiving group to move toward completion of the project. This work takes many forms, such as building new facilities, repairing and remodeling. An example taken from the CFC's diary is, siding, sheet rocking, putting in windows and doors, wainscoating, finishing, and painting the walls and ceiling in the remodeling project of a church.

ENCOURAGEMENT - "You mean that those Free Methodists care enough to travel here and help at their own expense?" "I saw you come in to the morning worship service, and knew that help was on the way." " You gave us the boost we needed to continue on." "Now we are going to have a new facility to reach out with the love of Jesus in our community."

SHARING the love of Jesus. One lady of the church where CFCer's worked wrote words of thanks, "You will probably never know (until you get to heaven) the full extent of the work you fellows did for First Church coming and helping to lift the burden of remodeling an old building."

Many places are waiting for you to share in God's work by using your skills for the glory of God so His love can be shared with others in need. Will you answer His call? The fields are waiting for workers to reap a harvest. For More information, contact Keith Ivers
