Wabash
Family Camp
In July,
we spent a week with many of you at Camp. We
shared more of the work God is doing in our lives and
spent time getting to know many of you who are
supporting us. Doug Newton, the Camp speaker,
challenged us to not limit the Spirit’s power and we
left there spiritually renewed. Praise God for
camps and the way they are impacting
lives.

Settling
in Sonora…this
time we mean it.
We’ve
said it before but we really do plan to be at home here
in Nogales for
several months now. Although we loved being with
family and friends (that’s you) in the
Midwest, it
didn’t help our Spanish much! We are getting back
into our language study and renewing our relationships
with friends here.
Nogales
Third
Church
meeting
On Sunday
August 1st, Superintendent Joel Lozano helped
dedicate the third church in Nogales. Pastor Juan Carlos
has been working with this project for many months and
it is exciting to see another phase begin. We hope
to participate with this new congregation in the months
we have in Nogales. Pray for this new
work.
Prayer
requests:
-
Language!
We are feeling the time crunch and still have far to
go.
-
Outreach to
our neighbors, the language is a barrier for in depth
conversations but we want to be a light to our
community.
-
Strength and
wisdom for Pastor Jorge in Mexico
City as he gives
vision to the church there
Praises:
-
Janette has
more energy! She is in the second trimester of
pregnancy and doing great.
-
A wonderful
time of rest and renewal in the Midwest with friends
and family.
-
The birth of
a new church in Nogales.
