Graphics Resource Site for Churches

Free Methodist pastor, JR Rushik (Storehouse Church in Philadelphia, PA), and his brother recently created a new website (www.isharemedia.net) designed to be a resource to churches around the world. The purpose of this site is to share various graphics (powerpoint backgrounds, announcement templates, stock photography, etc). Their goal isn't to make money, rather to share their designs with other church leaders and, in turn, enjoy the design skills of other members as they upload their designs.

The concept is simple. Upload your photos or designs (following their copyright guidelines) and upon approval you receive one credit. Each time you download a file, it costs one credit. So, for those who contribute, this service is completely FREE. You can also purchase credits for $ .50 each. This will help cover the cost of hosting and storage and is not intended to produce an abundance of revenue.

After being online for only a few weeks, www.isharemedia.net already has over 250 royalty free images available for download. Some of the benefits of IshareMedia include:

Personal Lightboxes - Sort and store your favorite images in your personal lightbox. If you find the perfect image for a future project, add that image to your lightbox and it will be there when you need it.

Confidential Ishare Email - As a member, your information is kept confidential. The Ishare website has an option to send anonymous emails to other members. Whether you share your email address is up to you.

A Personal Portfolio - Each file that you upload is placed in your personal portfolio. The portfolio is viewable from your account page. You now have one convenient location to store and display all of your work. Those who like your work can contact you (via email) or link to your Web site. This is a great place to share your skills with the world.

A Community of Artists - Isharemedia is a community of artists. You can contact other Ishare members using the convenient Ishare email service. It is a great place to share ideas, offer critiques, and expand your personal network.

A Resource for God's Kingdom - The main reason behind this website is to provide a platform for sharing media resources with other churches. Churches need high-quality graphics. Every time you upload a new piece of media, you are adding a new resource to be used for God's glory worldwide.
