LIVING HOLINESS: About the video

The best way to see and understand spiritual and theological truths is to see them embodied in flesh. That's why God chose to reveal himself visibly in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. AsJesus said, "If you have seen me you have seen the Father" (John 14:9).That's God's way of teaching theology.

So, too, God's holiness can never be comprehended apart from visible and tangible expression in "flesh and blood" people. Here again, God promised, "I will show myself holy through [my people]..." (Ezekiel 36:23)

The Living Holiness video is based on this concept. The best way to learn about holiness is to watch examples of holiness. In this 37-minute video, you see what "scriptural holiness" looks like through the people and ministries of five Free Methodist churches. It's not a matter of "do's and don'ts" but of God's power to transform people. People who are truly made holy are people who love God and love other people sincerely and actively. They are inwardly motivated by the Spirit of God to accept, serve and embrace all people everywhere.
