Former Sponsored Child Treating SARS in Hong Kong

Dr. Paul Wong

Dr. Paul Wong was a sponsored child in International Child Care Ministries' first rooftop school in Hong Kong. He learned to read, write, do math and know Jesus because a sponsor sacrificed for him financially and prayed for him daily. Dr. Wong was instrumental in helping the Free Methodist Church open in Cambodia by taking medical teams there to build a group from which the church was established.

ICCM just received word that Dr. Wong, a kidney specialist in Hong Kong — and additionally a seminary graduate — has just been assigned to the SARS ward in the hospital in which he works. The hospital is providing an apartment in which he will live in order to protect his young family at home.

Please pray for continuing good health for this man of God and that many will come to know Jesus through the risk he's taking to help them.
