Quick Look at the Recent Symposium
The second annual symposium: Search for the Free Methodist Soul II — A Global Conversation took place March 14-15 at West Morris Street Free Methodist Church in Indianapolis, IN. It continued and expanded the conversations begun at last year's gathering. It included small-group discussions, informal conversations and times of praise and worship.
Featured speakers included Free Methodist Bishop Jose Ildo Swartele de Mello of Brazil (1), Executive Director Polly Ho of the Asia Pacific Free Methodist Missions Association (2), and Pastor Mark Van Valin of Spring Arbor Free Methodist Church (MI) (3). The symposium was sponsored by the Marston Memorial Historical Center, the Center for the Study of Wesley and Society, and the Free Methodist Historical Society.
