Wonders
I have seen far places and beauty so rare,
of snow capped mountains and flowers so fair.
Of rice paddies turned under the laborers plow,
of temples so ancient and awesome somehow.
Of lush fruit and climate so warm,
of clear skies with seldom a storm.
I've climbed a volcano in the tropical sun,
and returned in an outriggerwhen day was done,
I've seen tall buildings that reach to the sky,
and harbors where great ships at anchor do lie.
All of the wonders are of great worth,
yet the greatest of all is the one of re-birth.
When the broken heart, filled with sin,
weeps sofly and says, Jesus, come in.
