I was in high school when I started attending the little
Free Methodist Church in Colorado Springs, Colorado and have
been a member ever since, so that makes about 62 years.
My mother and I moved to Seattle, Washington in 1947 where
I went to Seattle Pacific University and also met my husband
to be, a tall handsome young man called Edgar. We were married
in December 1948, we will so celebrate our 54th anniversary.
Ed retired from Rockwell after 24 years of service.
We have three children and three grandchildren. Our oldest
granddaughter graduated from Lewis and Clark Law School in
2001 and was married in October 2002.

When our children were pretty much grown and on their own
I decided to do something out of the house that I wanted to
do. So that is where I got my beginning in painting. I've
been painting about 22 years.
