Why have you responded to the call to fulfill your role in the magazine?
The leaders of our church asked me to take on the role of editor of Light and Life beginning in 1996. I believe that God often expresses his will through our leaders, so I responded willingly. It continues to be a privilege to serve the church in this role and other areas of communication. They have also given me freedom to pursue another or perhaps deeper - personal call to engage in a prayer lifestyle. I am thankful for their continued support and trust.

Our Prayer Ministry Call:
Margie and I had a distinct call in the fall of 1999 to reorient our lives around prayer, God's Word and a prayer ministry for pastors and their spouses. We provide an ideal opportunity for those who are also ready to reorient their lives around prayer. This is our life's focus. But we also consider it a privilege to serve the church through the magazine and other communications ministries.
