Additional Info:
For the past 10 years, our ministry focus has been the world at our doorstep - international students and immigrants living in the Salem area. For six years we have conducted and ESL school in a local church as part of Chemketa College's Volunteer Tutor Program. We have entertained "strangers" from over 50 countries in our apartment home. Last summer I spent a memorable two months in central Chile teaching English.
