I've been writing for a long time, but just decided to submit work for publication in the last year.

"Awakening to a World of Ceaseless Wonders," a short essay on Brother Lawrence and his experience of intimacy with God. Published in AWE Magazine, Winter 2004.
'Will Work for Food," an article on how to respond to transient people who may be scamming good people; published in Light & Life, September/October 2004.
"Christian Kids at Risk," a shorter version of original article, to be published in Kids Ministry Ideas, Fall 2004.
"Be Real: Authenticity is Powerful,"an article on the importance of being transparent and genuine as a Christian. Published in Light & Life, November/December 2003.

"www.thanksgiving.com" is a short essay I wrote on gratitude that is going to be published in the Fall 2003 issue of a new magazine called AWE, published by Streams Ministries. It also took second place in a writing contest.
"Open Letter To A Hot Guy" was a short essay on how promiscuity hurts young men too, not just girls. Published in Bozeman Senior High student paper Hawk Tawk in 2001.

Family:
Married to Duncan Hill since May 1978. Just celebrated 26 years.
Husband is full-time in ministry-type work, currently building orphanages in Uganda, Africa with different church leaders. Started a non-profit called The Uganda Orphans Fund and works with Hope For The Nations, World Orphans and Sacred Portion.
Three children: Katie 21, a junior at George Fox University; Sarah 18, a high school graduate and missionary with Youth With A Mission in Thailand; Nate, 12.

I love to write, but never considered writing for publication until now. The Lord has confirmed that He wants me to do this, so I am committing a lot more time to writing. I have served as a Bible Study Fellowship leader.
