Additional Information:

Prior to my appointment as pastor to Wolverine FMC, I spent nearly five years as a volunteer Christian worker in the Himalayan region (some of which was carried out under appointment as a Free Methodist VISA Worker). When I returned to the States (1997), I remained in an unofficial ministry partnership with an Asian Christian couple. What we began as a simple education-evangelism project in 1998 grew into an indigenous church-planting movement by 2003. In 2008, this fruitful constellation of multicultural ministries was formally affiliated with the Free Methodist Church (under the local authority of the India Free Methodist Church in cooperation with Free Methodist World Missions). I returned to Asia in 2008 and 2009 (both times as an FM VISA worker) to help coordinate the leadership training and structural development of this newly established Free Methodist work. I have presented my experiences at international missions events and participated as an expert speaker in a conference designed to nurture an engaging dialogue between the Eastern and Western spiritual traditions.
