Marci is a stringer for Colfax Record and has a regular “Word on the Street” column in which she interviews 312 people a year. Recently, she sold a humor pieces to Vista Publication. In 2005, her children’s book Pumper John was published by Hanley-Wood. Several of her articles have appeared in high profile blogs around the country, as well as in Leatherneck magazine and the California Southern Baptist Convention Newspaper.

Employment:

When asked about her employment, Marci usually responds that she is a multitasking mom who writes for local papers. She also teaches at local writing workshops and speaks to women’s groups.

Family:
Marci and her husband, John, live in the Sierra mountains and have been married over 24 years. They have six children, ranging in age from 23 to 9. Their oldest son is serving in the United States Marine Corp, and their youngest is determined to never leave home and the convenience of a full cookie jar.
Additional Information:
Even though Marci often tells people that she has an attention span of only 750 to 1250 words, she has recently completed the manuscript for a “humor that packs a punch” book titled “They Shall Rise Up and Call Me Crabby.”
