Janet has served
on staff with Youth for Christ and Forest Home Christian Conference
Center. She has directed a Christian preschool and is a CLASS graduate.
Through her speaking engagements at Forest Home, MOPS groups and churches,
she has inspired thousands.
In the past few years, Janet has been a voice, speaking out for those
who have suffered due to medical malpractice and fraud. California
Assembly Bill 2571 was born out of her misfortunes. With unanimous
support, August 31, 2000, AB 2571 was signed into law. Janet believes
that it "Just takes one" to make a difference. |

As a senior in high school, Janet lost the use of
her right leg following surgery. She met her husband, Marty, the
night of her 10th knee surgery. He became her cheerleader and stood
beside her as she learned to walk again. Janet and Marty have been
married for 21 years and have three children. Together they have
experienced God's faithfulness as they have faced the challenges
of adoption, juvenile diabetes, a premature baby and "life!"
