Don and Jan, with their two children, have extensively
explored and camped through the American West. I photograph the
diversity of Creation, while Jan sketches it. For several summers
we were on the teaching staff at Holden Village (ELCA), Lake Chelan,
WA. I was Village Naturalist and Jan taught writing and watercolor
classes. We edited and published the Christian Naturalist
Newsletter from 1984-1986. Both Don and Jan attended the Mt. Hermon
Christian Writers Conf. (California) in 2002, 2003, 2004. Don is
a member of the Redding Writers Forum, the Quills of Faith (a group
of Christian writers), the Nature Conservancy, the California Native
Plant Society, and several other outdoor oriented organizations.
