Amy
Beth does Christian concerts to raise funds and awareness for her
ministry with the children of the west side of Denver. Her ministry
is aimed at reaching at-risk kids. While attending CCU Amy and several
other students began this ministry. After finishing college Amy continued
with the ministry as she realized the great need of these children.
She, her college student helpers and an increasing number of members
from the Episcopal Church of St. Peter and St. Mary sponsor tutoring
programs, teach dental hygiene, provide needed clothing and other
practical helps for these children. The ministry also includes a weekly
street church where the purpose is to provide a family setting where
the kids sing, learn about Jesus and have the love and support of
the workers. |
