Bound Together by Prayer

At the beginning of General Conference, all delegates were assigned to a small prayer group. Non-delegate attendees were given the opportunity to sign up to be part of these groups, as well. [Roll cursor over photo to see two different groups meeting to lift up the denomination in prayer.]

Pray for Our General Conference Leaders:

Lord, continue to fill these, your people, with the knowledge of Your will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding for the many varied decisions they must continue to make. That they may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God through this experience and being strengthened with all power according to His glorious might so that they may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully give thanks to the Father Who has qualified them to share in the work and the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light (Colossians 1:9-12).

As these leaders sow to please the Spirit and reap eternal life for doing so — may they not become weary in doing good, and know that at the proper time they (along with the church) will reap a harvest if we do not give up. May the Lord bless them as they take every opportunity to do good to all the people they are working with and for — especially to those who belong to the family of believers (Galatians 6:8b-9).
