FM Colleges, Universities Bring Greetings

Five AFMEI (Association of Free Methodist Educational Institutions) colleges and universities have been re-approved for denominational status. Their presidents were introduced to the general conference and brought greetings to the denomination.

  • Dr. Donald Mason - Central Christian College, McPherson, KS
  • Dr. V. James Mannoia Jr. - Greenville College, IL
  • Dr. John Martin - Roberts Wesleyan College, North Chili, NY
  • Dr. Philip Eaton - Seattle Pacific University, WA
  • Dr. Gayle Beebe - Spring Arbor University, MI

Also introduced was Dr. Earl Schamehorn of Azusa Pacific University (APU), bringing greetings from the university's president, Dr. Jon Wallace. APU is recognized as an Affiliated Institution.

Representatives from two John Wesley Seminary Foundation schools were introduced as well:

  • Dr. Jules Glanzer - George Fox Evangelical Seminary, Portland, OR
  • Dr. Wayne McCown - Northeastern Seminary, Rochester, NY
